It is with a very heavy heart that we have to announce the passing of a Cavans Shelter Family Member :-( As you remember we collected Tyson and his sister Rani over the weekend after being dumped on the street by their owner. We knew straight away that Tyson was not in the best of health and following a visit to the vets this evening, and on the advice of our vet, Tyson passed over the bridge :-( He was in obvious pain and had virtually lost all use of his back legs, due to the complete lack of muscle. He looked at me and Jill and we could see in his eyes he had just had enough, bless him. I held Tyson in my arms as he passed and whispered in his ear that I was sorry we couldnt get to him sooner in his life, and that I promised we would look his sister :-( We abide by the Rescuers Creed which includes......we will hold your paw and stroke your ears if they have endured too much, and walk with them over the rainbow bridge God bless Tyson, Run Free Lots of love Cavans Shelter
