It is with great pleasure, joy, and humility that I stand before you as the newly elected Publicity Secretary of NSOBA. I have much joy because the mighty Ntare School Lions (NSOBA Members) has just seen a smooth and peaceful transition of power. I am humbled because all NSOBA Members have been waiting for that day and it indeed came. Gentlemen, I would be failing in my duty if I did not recognise the achievements made by the Rt. Hon. Eriya Kategaya (R.I.P), Hon. Proff. Ephariam Kamuntu, Justice John Kwesiga and Captain Awich Pollar for steering and leading NSOBA upto this day. Special thanks goes to the outgoing Executive, staff of Ntare School and other OBs who made the re-union activities take place and become a success. My indebtedness also goes to the entire NSOBA Community who voted me in absentia THANKS A MILLION. I would also want to thank all the contestants to the positions that were open for election in the Association. I hold them in high esteem for their sticking to democratic principles and values in this competition. I was informed that all the candidates conducted their campaigns in a very civilised and dignified manner from the time they were nominated, through the electoral process and up to accepting the outcome of the election. This must be commended; because ALL of us, are one family; the family of the mighty NSOBA. For us to be strong and to succeed as is our main goal, we need the contribution of everybody whether in an elected or non-elected capacity. Let us work together as a team and together, with one goal and one vision, we will build a better NSOBA and Ntare School. I would like, in a special way, to thank all OBs for making the re-union a success. The immediate outcome of any election, Gentlemen can never satisfy everyone. In a democracy, some win and some lose. Gentlemen, is what democracy is all about and should not divide us because we are all one family. but must be free and fair in practice, and this is what has transpired at this convention. I pledge to continue where I stopped and ensure that there is accurate, timely, developmental communication, God being my guide. THE LION STILL ROARS.
