It isnt a specific religion or religion as such that is Gender unfriendly, it is mostly the orthodox forms which retain pre-modern Gender roles which developed next to and within religious constructions. When people realize that religious constructions can evolve together with new worldviews and are not confined to old ones is when a religion can show its potential as a transcendental hermeneutics, something that goes beyond our present humanity and makes us more.
