It may have been raining outside today but there was plenty of sunshine in room 513! I couldnt wait to give yall an update. Today was amazing, MacDaddy was awake more today than he has ever been since the accident. He responded to all his therapists and did some awesome tasks. He opened and closed his hands, he reached up and touched his nose, he held up both arms and touched the top of his head he lifted his leg and lowered it by himself and he nodded yes and he did all of this on command! Thats right he listened and responded purposefully, and stayed awake the entire time. I feel like Ive won the lottery. We were all clapping and crying, it was such a wonderful afternoon. Today when he looked into my eyes it was different, he really saw me and he smiled. My heart melted, it was the sweetest moment of my new life! He had his CT scan this morning and the doctor said well get the results tomorrow but he did say that if there was anything adverse they would have called him and he didnt get a call. Soo. .. Im feeling much better about the results. Today I was able to take a real,hard,deep breath, and it felt good. Raymond has always been my sunshine, he always knows what I need, he always takes care of me. Even through all of this he is still making sure Im ok. Thank you baby thank you for fighting so hard to come back. Glory to God for his healing love. Thank you all for the continued prayers and support that get us through the day and night. Im going to go hold my husbands hand for awhile and tell him how proud of him I am. Be good to each other. We love yall.
