It took three generations of the Yoruba people to finally send - TopicsExpress

It took three generations of the Yoruba people to finally send away the British colonial thugs from Yorubaland in 1951. 1. Samuel Ajayi Crowther (1809 -1891) 2. Olayinka Herbert Macaulay (1864 -1946) 3. Obafemi Awolowo (1909 -1987) In 1951, the Yoruba nation attained independence from the British colonial thugs in what was called self-rule. Obafemi Awolowo was thereafter elected the Prime Minister of the Yoruba Western Region of Nigeria. Even at that, the colonial thugs from Britain were still lurking behind him until full independence in 1960. At independence in 1960, the British colonial thugs who were themselves immigrants in Nigeria imposed other immigrant, the Fulani, on all other Nigerians ethnic nationalities. Why did the British colonial thugs impose Fulani immigrants on the rest of Nigerians? It was to help them continue to steal and use the resources of other Nigerians to develop England. This 419 system from the British colonial thugs was what the Ibo adopted to their advantage in 1966 when they suspended regionalism. Six months later, the Gambari, led by the Fulani, ousted the Ibo from power and perfected this 419 system through the continued suspension of regionalism and its replacement with unitary system. Since 1966, the Yoruba people have been protesting with their fists (only idiots do that in the face of guns) for the country to return back to regionalism. Today, the current generation of the Yoruba Youths has adopted organized violence, as one of the means to get Nigeria back to regionalism and or Oduduwa Republic. Worried about this reality, the Ibo are again using propaganda to claim that all the infrastructures in Yorubaland were developed with Niger Deltas oil money even though the Yoruba nation had been so developed before the oil boom in the 70s. Invariably, the Ibo are also saying that every single infrastructure in Iboland and Hausa/Fulani land was developed with Nigeria Deltas oil money. Given the criminal nature of the British colonial thugs who left Nigeria but handed power to the Fulani in order to be able to continue to steal the wealth and resources in Nigeria and also in view of the Ibo suspension of regionalism in 1966 in order to be able to steal the wealth and resources of other Nigerians as well as the institution of a unitary system by the Gambari also to help them steal and control the wealth and resources of other Nigerians, would it therefore be reasonable to say that the Niger Delta oil developed Yorubaland when it is only the Yoruba people who have been demanding for regionalism since 1966? Regionalism means True and Fiscal Federalism. True Federalism means Regional Autonomy while Fiscal Federalism means Resource Control. Only the Yoruba wants true and fiscal federalism, but both the Ibo and the Gambari are against True and Fiscal Federalism because the Resources of the Yoruba and Niger Delta fund development in Iboland and Hausa/Fulani land. The Yoruba are in favour of True and Fiscal Federalism because the Niger Delta oil money did not fund development in Yorubaland. If it does fund development in Yorubaland, the Yoruba leaders wouldnt be pushing for regionalism. It is therefore nothing but a propaganda from the Ibo to say Niger Delta oil money funds Yoruba development. Niger Delta contributes 45% of all the money in the Federation Account. Yoruba contributes 42% of the total money whilst the Ibo and Gambari only contribute 13%. From the 42% contributed by the Yoruba, less than 10% is returned to Yorubaland for its public expenditures, the remaining 32% of the Yoruba money goes to finance development in Iboland and Hausa/Fulani land respectively. The Yoruba Youths must embrace organized violence to free this generation and the next from the criminals who steal the future wealth and resources of our children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
