It would be not only nice, but relevant to see you guys educate the officers on here on how to actually keep the community safe. It seems, in todays world, rookie cops are being misguided by the older generation. Its a shame to see our police killing, beating and terrorizing our own people. These are our brothers, sisters, mothers, aunts, kids, etc. These young cops are too scared of a little tussle. While YES, I realize what a little tussle can turn into, as I am trained in Israeli Krav Maga, so dont give me an excuse. At the same time, cops now are too quick to use deadly force. I rarely ever see a cop square off using a baton, spray or taser. Where Im from its much more common to have a barrel shoved in your cheek bone. These young cops want nothing more than to feel what its like to abuse and hurt helpless people. You cant resist, but only be docile and submissive to a stranger that has an opinion that he is more conscious than you, no matter what the fact of the matter is. It would also be nice to see these officers educated on the constitution and peoples rights. Just because your a cop doesnt mean you can make the public act as you see fit. You say you represent a lot of departments that have been accused and/or found guilty of excessive force or unreasonable force. I guess its time to take ownership.
