Its been a whirlwind of a week and its not over yet! started last sunday by Bishop handing me my patriarchal blessing recommend....been a looooooooong wait for that, and I think I cracked my face grinning LOL! you know how you have a bucket list of things you want to accomplish in life before crossing over? That one was a HUGE one! Ive slowed down, listened and prayed and contemplated about every facet of my life, not all the changes have been pain-free, but were more than sorely needed, but when you hit a huge bump and you sail over it, pray some more, think some more, work some more, and it seems like every day since a big blessing has hit me like a brick wall! Kid you not! All the pieces are falling together automatically and every day I have more to be happy and excited about! With exception of one thing....I am not liking this hair color LOL, so, I bought more dye! Going darker and more along my natural roots, have to mix colors to get it just right. I thought if I went lighter with all the greys I now have, it wouldnt be such a stark contrast....well, those who have seen me all liked it, however, I feel like strawberry shortcake! to me it looks pink! its the exact same color as the pic I have as my profile pic now, but I am not comfortable with it, so within the next few hrs, Im going to my roots, like I shouldve in the first place :P~ it looks too fakey to me, even though I feel better about myself than I have in a very long time! I had a couple over from church Wednesday night for dinner, the roast was sheer perfection! The missionaries couldnt make it, they had been in temple up in Medford all day and through dinner and still had to make the trip back to Yreka! They called to excuse themselves, hoping I wouldnt be upset, well duh, of course not! I schedule them once a week at my place anyways and they know I will be back-up for anyone who has something come up last minute. The twins love having them come over too and we have the BEST conversations! My circle of friends is growing fast, I feel alive again, I treasure that more than you know! Today, earlier, the girls teacher came again and we went over their checklist for 33 mos and the girls were awesome and teacher said they were more than ready for Head Start and will see her only 2 more times, then they officially start campus school! Theyre excited because theyll be going to the same school Emma went to, and Emma will be going to Elementary School! These girls have grown SO much! Every time we go to Walmart, the twins let me know they want Hello Kitty backpacks, kid you not, theyre almost obsessed! They want to draw, color, sing, dance, read, play with other kids and learn more and more, and their school up here is awesome! They, the girls are awesome! Katrina and I went shopping earlier this week, found a fabulous sale on dresses and shoes and frilly socks and supplied the girls well so they can start coming to church too :) Things are just finally starting to fall into place and I pray it continues....hey, I ate a Jalapeno Double Stacker Burger today HA! OH it was gooooooooood! Then for dinner I behaved with a salad :P~ Well, just thought Id catch up with yall, let you know Im still kickin n screamin through life! I have a load of laundry to fold, then a powernap, then color my hair AGAIN! Getting ready for my weekend :) My love to all! Oma Central... p.s. I bought some more yarn for my stash ....shhhhhhhhhhhh LOL
