Its been five years since I played my first Sunday Session at Longboard Bar & Grill (formerly Jamaica Joes), and yesterdays marathon five-hour set was right up there with the most enjoyable. Im still buzzing. I got to jam with some of the leading lights of Townsvilles music scene: BeccyBoo McHutchison (sax), Nick Emtage (trumpet), Carolyn Luder (vocals) David Pincott (percussion), Graham Ruttiman (percussion) Clement Fay (sax), Astro Black (on the mic), Dylan Howells (percussion), Ilona Bienkiewicz,(vocals, percussion) and Bob Osae, (percussion, vocals). Big shout out to you. The pleasure was all mine. And thanks to all who came down and supported us. The vibes were sweet and you helped to make it into a wicked little party. Ive got a bit of video footage that Ill upload to You Tube shortly. Like my Cry Tuff artist page to keep informed about future gigs. Ill be putting on some events later in the year and I have major plans for 2015. Stay tuned...
