Its been great meeting with a lot of our team today, starting to put a plan in place. Did a few X-rays, waiting to see certain specialists ( neurology tomorrow) and overall just talked about what needs to be worked on. The biggest thing we worked on today... Jetts weight. Hes actually lost weight since his last admission to Calgary. Which I knew. Which Ive been working hard at with my local dietician, and to which Ive always felt she has been letting things go a little too far. When Jett was born he was in the 80th percentile. I actually remember putting him on a diet at one point. After fundo / gtube surgery and weve had issues with volume , he dropped to 50th percentile. Dietician still said no biggie, that theyd rather 50 than 80 and its because he is active. And that he was still on his curve. Despite all this, I knew he wasnt gaining a single thing. I kept at it with the dietician. Today, I was told Jett is in the 10th percentile. Hes dropped significantly. I am NOT happy. He isnt on his curve anymore. So we are finally talking about a formula switch that would give him more calories, just need to secure funding for that formula because its pricey before we switch. Ive also emailed my dietician to see if she is using the same growth chart as Calgary is, or if there is some confusion. Because IF shes using the same chart, I will have some serious questions to be asking as to why she let him drop that much. I dont have growth charts at home, so I didnt have a clue. All I knew is that he wasnt gaining anything, and that she wasnt concerned. Sigh. Once piece of the puzzle that we are working on. As I said to daddy Jett was 100% more safe in my womb, I made him fat, and my team of professionals has failed him and made him skinny.... It upsets me that I used to have a fat baby, and now I have a skinny baby. Oh well, we are getting to the bottom of everything, and I know we will fix things!
