Its called Good friday, because He went to The Cross for the sins of the world. Regardless of if you understand or not, we are born into a cursed world, one which has beauty all around, the hills, the scenery, the children, the love we full, but also has much pain, hurt, corruption, and to hit the nail on the head, self seeking. God, our creator, knowing this would happen, and that we who are made in His Image, would sin (meaning missing the mark), choose before hand to prepare for Himself a once and for all sacrifice, once and for all atonement, and one and for all way for us to again be reconciled back to God. Though we will still die because the wages of sin is death, we will go on to spend eternity with God, or seperated from Him. In this is love, that while we were yet still sinners, Christ died for us. If there is one thing you ever get from my facebook, I hope and pray that its an encounter with Jesus Christ, this side of eternity, as we turn and repent to Him. He took all of my lies, lust, blasphemy, pride, sin, and took them upon Himself on that Cross, canceling my debt, and offering me eternal life and forgiveness. The main point is that those who have truly been forgiven, have had an encounter with Christ, meaning He sent His Holy Spirit to convict, and forgive. This is the evidence, that He is real, that lives have been transformed, heads made new, and people begin to look to Him as He shapes them the rest of their lives. Christ is not only my crutch, but My Lord and Savior, and I hope one days yours... We have services at Rock Harbor Costa Mesa all day today, where people gather to thank Him and praise Him. Hope to see you there. Our worship and why we focus so much on Him is not unlike the worship you may even give to other things... Your fav bands, skaters, self, habits, goals, only this worship, is what we were made for... Let everything that has breath Praise The Lord. SO BE IT!
