Its early in the morning in California - and Im getting ready to - TopicsExpress

Its early in the morning in California - and Im getting ready to go on a morning run. It crosses my mind in a weird way, an afterthought and a meditation that I feel I must share. For all my Facebook friends that are self employed or work in a complex corporate environment I am going to share this with you. Your reputation is a very fragile thing; Guard it heavily. Poor decision making on your end is the only thing responsible for its destruction and shortcomings. Here is the tricky part ( :) ) be very mindful that some projects, jobs, assignments and tasks are designed to destroy your reputation. And here is the difficult part to digest it is not by clear intention or conspiracy. It is by the presence of fear, the culture of fear, and the injection of single or multiple egos.. My friends an easy way to detect what you should do with your time (in respect to work) is to stay clear of indecisiveness, fear, uncertainty, and ego in respect to your clients and co-workers. Do not leave the wisdom I am sharing to be overridden by your desire for financial or personal gain; Do not be comforted by the fact that in the end honesty, truth and fairness will save your reputation either. The corporate world and entrepreneurial life is a cold, and a mixed up place with different personalities, true immaturity (in respects to personal growth), egos, and fear. You never know what a next persons/coworkers motivation is for the job they are doing. You are never aware of the clients motivation for the job they are hiring you for. Be very wary of the silent players that have influence on your co-workers and clients also. Silent players that feed ego, fear, uncertainty and indecisiveness. In short - in the midst of ego and fear culture you will ultimately fail or succeed with a sullied reputation, either way your reputation will be damaged. It might be a lot to digest however im certain there are many that can relate. Learn the power of NO. its ok to say no to your boss or supervisor from time to time. Some jobs arent for you. And it is alright to say no to some clients, just be very careful; by suffering yourself time to time, and picking the right jobs, projects, tasks or assignments you can and will build a solid reputation for yourself and client base who respects your skills, qualifications and experience. If your caught in a battle/bad situation right now - take a deep breath, and just..... walk away. The universe is great and vast - ultimately you will always be ok. Learn to see love. Find true light. Learn to have faith. Start perceiving a better reality for yourself.
