The ego wants the self to be in a state of perpetual anxiety so that it can maintain prominence and control, much the same way that governments keep their populations divided in fear so that they can maintain power over the masses. Real love is much harder to embrace than fear, but if youre strong enough to truly accept, forgive and love yourself, that energy will naturally flow outward to all of humanity. Love requires strength, nurturing and growth, while living in fear requires no effort at all, but that which comes easily is seldom of true value in this world. Blessings, peace and much love!
