Its funny how the world works, isnt it? I spent my whole childhood hearing that everything I thought and felt was wrong. I spent my nights looking up at the stars begging a god I never knew to let me in on his secret plans for me. Having received no answer that I was ready to understand, I imagined a future for myself. I built my morals alone, I chose the standards to follow, and as I grew, I found that my rules were more stringent than most. Maybe that is the reason that I was given the greatest gifts Ive ever known. The chance to meet my soul mate so early in life and the opportunity to pass on what Ive learned to the life we created together. As a boy I saw a future of solving mysteries and discovering new technologies. As a man I have found that my greatest discoveries are right beside me. I would have her safe from harm and never wanting for anything. And she... would simply have me. So it is that I am. I work harder than I should, I push farther than many and I choose no substances to ease the pain of the journey. You cannot possibly know the joy that her laughter brings to my heart.
