Its hard to believe that we have already completed 3 full weeks of programs! As we are getting settled into programs there are a couple of big needs that we are facing and would like to ask you to consider helping us with. 1. While we are still in the hunt for a new building, we are continuing to transport our kids to Solomons Porch Church and are in need of drivers so that we do not have to turn any kids away due to lack of transportation. Please let me know if you are available to help transport kids (pick up at 5:50pm and return home at 8:10pm) once a week, please let me know. 2. Once again we will be providing meals to our kids on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings. If you (or maybe you and a few of your friends) might be willing to provide a meal once a month, please let me know. Providing a meal usually includes preparing an entree (as simple as hot dogs, sloppy joes, tacos) as well as a side (veggies, fruit, chips, etc.) and possibly a dessert (store bought cookies work just fine!). We provide plates, napkins, utensils. Again, if you are interested in getting involved to make sure that our kids are not going hungry, please let me know!
