Its just amazing to me how a month ago my dad was doing great and now hes hanging on to life by a thread. He has drs appts everyday this week. Had a bone scan today and CT scan and MRI tomorrow to see if his prostate cancer has spread any where else. Hes struggling to breathe and has had over 300oz of fluid drained from his lung in the past 3 weeks. Friday he has a minor surgery to have a drain tube inserted into his ribs so my step mom can drain the fluid for him instead of going to to the ER every time. He has decided to not do chemo because it wont cure his cancers or improve his quality of life so he has chosen to be made comfortable with pills for whatever time he has left.
