Its refreshing to see so many people becoming conscious of the ongoing genocide in Gaza. While I could do without images of dead children in my news feed, it is a necessary evil to get through to people the severity of this conflict. What is a little concerning is the increasing number of anti-Semitic comments arising from it. There is a difference between Judaism and political Zionism, just in the same way that there is a difference between Christianity and the Westbro Baptist Church, or Islam and extremist Jihad groups. Problem is though that people are not digging deep enough. Ive seen plenty of posts saying this is horrible, and our government is doing nothing. 12 billion in arms sales to Israel is not nothing. Millions in subsidies from the US is not nothing. BBC silence and bias is not nothing. Billions in taxpayer money for the 2012 ZION games was not nothing. Handing Israel (read: Palestine) over to the people who funded both sides of WWII is not nothing. Constant programming relating to Hitler on our TV channels is not nothing. On the date of this event, in Kirkcaldy there will be this march and YES tattoo day at Spaghetti Tattoos. I wouldnt dare to use the events in Palestine to propagandize for a YES vote, but the fact that these 2 events are occurring in such a small town on the same day speaks volumes to me. Our little country is waking up, and it is very exciting. FREE PALESTINE
