Its sad that explicit bits of the girls mail are becoming reasons for it going viral. Have received multiple forwards since morning from otherwise sensitive friends who had to be nudged into realising that youre violating the young girls privacy. Thankfully most of them accepted their folly and agreed to stop circulating ahead. Wonder if I only managed to rub some of them wrongly (not that I care) or they genuinely felt so. Some of them even went on to justify the forwards as an effort in the right direction of helping her get justice. But do you necessarily have to divulge the girls identity? Would you circulate an email disclosing the girls and her fathers name, even when you yourself have young daughters? I am reminded of Paromas post earlier in the day that alluded to drunk texting has been replaced by drunk WhatsApping. I guess we have just become a trigger-happy nation. When we cannot do it with a gun, we resort to the word.
