It’s less (ba a day) than 2 weeks until the big day and two weeks from today, people will be returning, exchanging Santa’s mistakes. We, can’t make a mistake. Now. We have to get serious about our Christmas music selection. Huffington post had a list of 20 songs, including some carols. Too few carols, considering what Christmas is supposed to be. But to keep it brief, I’ll begin with one of the oldest, one I learned about in college. But we won’t go into any of that, it was a grunch of years ago. Just a couple of lines, that stir my soul and all of Israel ought to be stirred. It is G-d’s promise to His child ISRAEL. As it says in the opening of “The Messiah” “Comfort ye, comfort ye My people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned. Ever speak words of comfort such as Isaiah does here?
