Ive always been a little wary of the garage we go to, and now I have even more reason to be. The tires on the jeep were getting low on tread and with winter coming Id suggested it would probably be a good idea to put new ones on. Well, they put Firestone Winterforce tires on and right away I said to myself, those are snow tires. So I go back inside and ask are these snow tires, or year round? -- To which they reply that they are year round. Now that Ive done some research, I find out they lied and its going to cost us in both MPG and the soft compound is going to wear quickly when its dry out. I also find out that they over-charged us for them. TireRack has them for less. -- Now the choices are, do we just wear them down and go with all seasons next time around, or do we get another set of rims and swap on and off seasonally? ehow/how_7472502_use-winterforce-tires-summer.html
