Ive been teaching for a few years now and many times Ive come across students who have learning disabilities. While Im not an expert to analyze, I do know how to spot especially those who face difficulty in reading and writing. I tell the teachers and they acknowledge it as well but they tell me the parents refuse to believe that their child has a learning disability despite the child having gone through testing. For parents who have children with learning disability, my message to you is to please let your child learn in an environment that is more suited for their development. This is to ensure they are able to learn and grow, taught by teachers who are specially trained. To continue to let them stay in the normal system is doing a huge disadvantage to your own child as they will struggle to grasp concepts and will naturally fall behind their peers, thereby feeling demotivated and losing interest to learn. Remember, every child is different. Your child could be a genius and just wont fit into the normal system.
