Ive been wanting to get the Ninja Food Processor from Sams for a while. Well. the price came down, and I got it. Ive also been searching for the prefect dipping sauce for decades. Horseradish stuff is really good, but far too expensive to use for dipping just about everything in. Mark grows horseradish, so that was another reason I wanted the Ninja. Well. This last weekend, I picked up some horseradish roots, set up a fan in the kitchen, and peeled them. I diced them up, and threw them into the Ninja. I read that a little white vinegar will stop the hr from getting way hotter, so I put in a little of that too. Great. But not exactly for dipping. Then I found something online. I had a cup of sour cream left in a container. So I threw in about 2/3s a cup of my prepared hr, and then I tossed in a half cup of miracle whip. ...and a tablespoon of dry mustard. ::gasp - sigh:: ...I have found my dipping sauce... ...great on steaks, fries, sandwiches, hotdogs, burgers... The only thing is that it makes my Cherry Pomegranate bug juice taste like coconut. ... ... ...cool... I like coconut! LOL!
