Ive been weeding and milling through many hypotheses today, and trying to perfect it for the coming 3 weeks. In my CNM Non-Verbal Communications class, one of our assignments is to do an observation paper. Either you have to come up with an hypothesis and observe people in a public (and legal) manner, or you have to break away from social media entirely for 48 hours and write up the results from that absence. Ive chosen to do a public observation, and Ive chosen the UNM Student Union Plaza and CNMs Man Campus Lobby. The traffic of pure bodies is heavy, and should yield plenty of people to record. Im observing students vs. facility in how many use hand gestures or not in common conversation. The setup should be ready by this Friday.
