Ive come to the end of my knowledge for getting out a ballsed up Allen head bolt! This is on a 2.1MV syncro thermostat housing. The bottom one came out by hammering a T45 spline piece in, but that technique has now run its course on the top one. The threads on the bottom one were almost pristine, and after getting the crack I undid it by hand. Ive tried one of those reverse thread remover things, and there isnt enough room for my usual technique of hammering a 12mm socket bit over. My last option is cut the head off, remove the stat housing and hope the threads are as good and that my stud extractor will get it!
