Ive had a hard time in the last few months, leaving all that Ive known to start again in Singapore. I feel alienation in this place of my birth, to be labelled a local girl and not been here for the past 18 years. To leave all my close friends and not be able to see their smiling faces during strolls on Queen Street in #Toronto or bump into future collaborators in #Brooklyn. To consistently watch my back for opportunists and backstabbers in a hyper paranoid environment for business and art. To face naysayers that would rather celebrate failure and still maintain grace so that one day they might change their minds. RasJammy TriniYard reminded me today Do not let their words make your naive, go listen to the tune Love Grows, fits the situation. Love Grows is a meditation for a time we might feel less strong, less inspired, less fulfilled. When we feel at our lowest we choose to give up or rekindle a light, even the smallest spark and let that Love Grow. Trust in your faith through these hard situations.
