Ive had a recent run-in with god. Ive been trying to work against him instead of FOR him. Yes, Ill admit it, Ive had it rough the past couple of months. But, when I finally gave in, its like I was struck by lightning. I feel THE connection now. Its there, dont think its not, because it IS. And yet despite this happening to me, still there are people that arent happy with how Im running my life. But guess what, as I said in my last post, its MY life. Not anyone elses, so save yourself the trouble of worrying about ME when you have YOUR life to worry about. Yes, I may be in YOUR life, but I havent done anything to deserve the treatment Im getting soooooooo guess what? Im not letting it bother me. Thats how I feel right now. I have the love of a WONDERFUL girl whom I love VERY dearly and that love goes just as deep to her son, despite what people may seem. Yes Im hard pressed to be a father because I DO NOT HAVE MY OWN KIDS. But guess what, Im still going to try and FIGHT to become the father he needs and I WILL ALWAYS fight for him. I would die for both of them and dont anyone think any different. I cant wait to be done with school, because when my time is COMPLETELY dedicated to what I love (photography) I can promise you, youll step back and say damn, sorry I ever doubted that this is a real job.. Whoever thinks photography isnt a real job might want to step back and look at the people who are making 5,000 dollars + per wedding, OR for that fact the guys who are making SERIOUS money being lead photographers for national geographic. Guess what, Thats where Im headed and I just LOVE proving people wrong. Dont hate me for who I USE to be, or who I hang around. Love me for me and me alone, Im not asking for the world. Im asking for acceptance. Ill get it from the people who REALLY matter to me, know why? Because I already have it. And I wont lose it no matter who pipes in their opinion. 2:03am and I think I covered what was on my mind. Good night.
