Ive heard people say that if doctors and nurses have to work on thanksgiving then retail workers should too. While I clearly understand that some people will have to be at work tomorrow due to the nature of their work, I dont think you can compare the two things. Emergencies can happen any time. Ran out of dip is not an emergency. Also, retail workers barely make minimum wage and doctors and RNs are some of the best paid professionals outside wall street. For crying out loud stay the heck home and show the big discount stores that you want their workers to be able to stay with their families next year!
