Ive pretty much decided that conference will not be possible for me this year. Once again, my Navy Son is going to come first. My Son heads out to Sea in april and when he comes home, they will be bringing his boat (submarine) home. I havent had the opportunity to greet him when arriving this way. He normally flies in from Diego Garcia, but they will be bringing the boat home this time. This may be the very last time that he is on a boat that returns to port. He just qualified for Petty Officer 1st Class and will be going to school for 2 years for that. The expected date for arrival right now is the 2nd wk of July. Of course, those dates can change, but were dead set on not missing it.
