Ive talked with nurses and doctors who are living this nightmare. Its absolutely slavery and the management is endangering the health and welfare of critically ill people. Frequently people are now dying simply because staff has become too weary to catch the simple mistakes. I had to threaten the convalescent management where my mother in law had been ordered to take medication she was allergic to. The meds nurse going around with everyones meds in the little cups was yelling at her and demanding she take another patients medications. If she hadnt refused to comply shed be dead now. Wrong meds is considered to be one of the most commonly occurring preventable causes of death in the hospital today. KNOW AND CHECK WHAT YOURE BEING GIVEN. PEOPLE ARE MAKING DEADLY MISTAKES!
