Ive thought about this to a certain extent. If I ever have to pitch ideas for a graphic novel series, I sort of know how it would be like. The title would be Tales of Luneheim (Luneheim being the overall setting, not a town or city or kingdom). For towns and cities that make up the setting, imagine something like a fusion between Lord of the Rings, Medieval Europe, and Renaissance Europe. The synopsis/summary would be this. *t.C.E.= true Common Era -There once existed a mystical land called Luneheim which possessed magical wonders as far as the eye could see. Like all places, unfortunately, not every chapter of its history is a pleasant one. In the year 1100 t.C.E. a war broke out that ravaged the landscapes of Luneheim for 40 years. Entire countries slaughtered each other for supremacy. Many things drove this war but at the top of the list was the desire to control rare types of magecraft unique only to certain families. One example is Void magic which many thought was lost ages ago. On the May of 1138 t.C.E., a neutral town called Nirvash was swept away in the fighting and burned down to its foundations. What occurred in that town was later recorded as the Forty Year Wars most inhumane massacre. Innocent lives were wiped out in the chaos. There was only one child among the survivors who witnessed it all. That child...was me. Two and a half years later, the war came to an end. Eleven years have passed and today I stand here as the youngest knight ever to join the ranks of the Eisbahn military. On the missions Ive been on, Ive begun to learn about my unique lineage and of a rising threat that if unchecked can wipe out every inhabitant of Luneheim. My name is Aslan. I am the last of the Void mages and this is my tale.
