I–Day Arrangements finalized at Poonch POONCH, JULY 27: Development Commissioner Poonch, Sajjad Ahmed Khan today reviewed the arrangements for the Independence Day celebration function here at a meeting of officers of Police and civil administration. Meeting discussed and finalized arrangements for functions to be held at District, Tehsil naibat headquarters. Various committees where constituted to monitor arrangements of the function, while the meeting decided to hold the main function at the sports stadium. Contingent of District Police, Armed Police, Auxiliary Police, band party of District police and Army, NCC cadets and school children would take part in march past. A one hour long cultural Programmes would be held with the participation of school children and Information department. Similar functions would be held at Tehsil and Niabet headquarters of the district. Superintendent of Police, Shamsheer Hussain, ADDC, CMO, Superintendent of District Hospital, CEO Poonch, Tehsildar, functionaries of PHE, R&B and representatives of Army and Para Military forces attended the meeting.
