J. Jackson, lead singer and lyricist for ApologetiX here. Four years ago, Tom Milnes wife saw a Super Bowl commercial that reminded her of APX. It featured a group of life-sized toys joyriding, bowling, jet-skiing, hot-tubbing, making snow angels, riding mechanical bulls, getting tattoos, dancing, and visiting Vegas. Barb singled out a sock monkey as Tom and a one-eyed, bumpy, red creature as yours truly. Well, the red guy is from a show called Yo Gabba Gabba!, which my three-year-old son, T.J., now likes to watch, although he calls it Yo Yo Gabba. Anyway, today T.J. was watching an episode and my character said: Theres nothing wrong with being small. Being tall can be hard; sometimes I bump my head on low bridges! How true! My guys name is Muno, and Wikipedia says this about him: A friendly male red cyclops. Hes the tallest, is somewhat clumsy .. Yeah, that about sums it up. However, Wiki says Muno is their bands guitarist, so at least people can tell us apart that way. Note: Yo Gabba Gabba! should not be confused with Gabba Gabba Hey, the catchphrase of fabled American punk band the Ramones, another group of characters where Id probably get compared to the tall guy in the middle.
