When Wouldnt It Be Nice was eventually issued as a 45, it was a pretty good bargain because the flip side was God Only Knows...1967-Four months after their hit TV show debuted, the Monkees performed live for the very first time to a sell-out crowd at The Cow Palace in San Francisco...1968-On NBC-TV, Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In, debuted “from beautiful downtown Burbank”. Its reported that the show used 260 pages of jokes in each hour-long episode. The first season earned Laugh-In 4 Emmy awards. And, you can bet your bippy, Nielsen rated it the #1 show on television for the next two seasons.
