JESUS IS ALL WE NEED.... ACTS 26:19-29. Paul assured King Agrippa that he was suffering persecution, not because he had done anything wrong because but because he was preaching the faith he had once tried to destroy. Paul showed that his preaching was in agreement with the Old Testament Scriptures. The basic teachings of the Old and New Testaments is that God desires to deliver all people from the power of sin and has done so perfectly through the work of Gods anointed one--THE MESSIAH. Knowing that God desires to save us is essential to our Christian walk. Paul was so concerned about the salvation of other people that he had a little time to worry about his own problems. Here he risked his life to share his testimony with a man who had the power to have him killed. This conversation wiyh King Agrippa shows Pauls burning desire to soften a reclaim even the most hardened hearts. For everyone in salvation and restoration it is helpful to get our eyes off our own afflictions and focus on the needs of others. As we help others discover the way to Jesus, we will be free from our self-centeredness and strengthened in our own walk. ...Faith...Loves...Hope...
