JOB OPENING! Gender and Development, Northeastern University, Boston The International Affairs Program at Northeastern University invites applications and nominations for a position at the assistant, associate or full professor level, effective July 1, 2014, in the field of economic development with a focus on gender and either labor, health, or family (household) economics. Knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative research methods, along with developing country/Global South expertise, is required. Experience in teaching, research and professional service should be commensurate with that expected in a research university with a strong commitment to instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Applications are welcome from women or men in economics as well as related fields in demography and political science. The successful candidate will be appointed jointly, with a tenure home in Economics or other unit in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities. The successful candidate will also teach in the planned MA degree program in International Affairs, which will have a gender and development component.
