Jacobs Well has prayerfully decided to engage in another short-term matching funds fundraising campaign through Chimp this September. We are so grateful for those who donated through the Chimp campaign that we participated in earlier this year, and there is no pressure or expectation to donate again to this second campaign. We are dependent on regular givers to keep our doors open, and we dont want to do anything that might disrupt those regular donations or make those regular givers feel unappreciated or taken advantage of through repeated donation requests. That being said, if you know of anyone who you think might be interested in supporting Jacobs Well financially as we seek to secure the funding we need to increase staffing hours - please pass along the link to this latest matching funds campaign (chim.pn/1qP7TH3). Chimp has secured funding from the Bienfaisance Foundation to match every donation, dollar for dollar (up to $1000). The funding for this campaign is running out rather quickly, so this will be a very short-term opportunity to have donations matched if given through the Double the difference! page via Chimp. The campaign is also set up to allow individuals to create their own giving group, which is a way for individuals personally connected to Jacobs Well (in whatever fashion) to create their own page and connect with their own network of friends as a way of expanding the scope of the campaign and reaching folks that arent yet connected with our community.
