Janelle, No woman should ever have to be afraid or feel the need to distrust, but sadly, our culture has made some feel entitled to treat others in a way that should be unacceptable to any human. These folks behave as they do not out of desire but out of a need for power over others. Dont try to understand them but stand up for yourself and turn ANYONE in who treats you less than the brilliant, kind and caring person you are. This post and the accompanying article and photos make me sad and ashamed that many men see no problem at all with these behaviors.
