Jeff Mills 12 hours ago · From all the news reports in Israel and other media outlets, it is expected that with the soon coming release of the Kerry Plan Israel will see an increase in pressure to reach a deal with the Palestinians. In fact, both sides will face increased pressure, but it is more likely that Israel will get most of the pressure as they are the side of the conflict that the world feels it can push the furthest. It is being reported today that John Kerry has made an ultimatum to Israel to make progress in the peace talks or else. An Israel National News article reports: US Secretary of State John Kerry on Saturday threatened Israel that a failure in the peace talks would lead to global boycotts and delegitimization of the Jewish state. The warning comes as no surprise to those familiar with reports earlier in the month, which revealed that Kerry is orchestrating the European boycotts against Israel. Deputy Defense Minister Danny Danon responded to Kerrys threats of boycotts, saying we respect Secretary of State Kerry but will not hold talks with a gun to our head. Friends dont put ultimatums on the security of the state of Israel. This is the same John Kerry who just a few months ago threatened Israel with a Third Intifada if a breakthrough was not reached. It is quite telling that Israel is the one expected to make all the concessions as there is never any demands made to the Palestinians who are the reason no deal has been made. The Palestinians basically say No to every deal presented to them unless they get everything they want which is nothing short of the destruction of Israel. Another very telling news article that came out recently was one where a European Union official was quoted as saying that it was already a certainty that Israel would be found liable should an agreement not be reached on the peace talks. An Israel Today news article reports: European Union Ambassador to Israel Lars Faaborg-Andersen freely admitted on Wednesday that Europe intends to blame the Jewish state if the current peace talks fail to produce an agreement. Naturally, the blame will be put squarely on Israels doorstep, stated Faaborg-Andersen. He qualified that remark by insisting it would be only logical to attribute failure to Israel if the issue that prevents the signing of a peace deal is Jewish settlement activity. The idea of the peace talks failing because of Israeli settlement activity is simply absurd and shows the growing anti-semitism of Europe. Israeli settlement activity is a scapegoat for the world community as it allows them to place blame on Israel instead of on the Palestinians were it belongs. The world community knows that they have absolutely no chance in getting the Palestinians to budge on significant issues in any peace deal. Therefore the default blame will always be heaped on Israel. This article just confirms what we have known all along regarding the world communitys growing anti-semitism towards Israel. I think we can expect to see some very interesting developments as well as more details emerging from the Middle East as we near the April 2014 deadline for the peace talks to be resolved. There were some news reports out that the world community is already looking for an opening to extend the peace talks for another nine months. Whether this will happen remains to be seen, but it is my feeling that something is going to give soon in regards to the Israeli-Palestinian situation. Also, there is the pesky problem of the Iranian nuclear program as well. This situation continues to remain unsolved and the six month deadline to reach a permanent agreement to end the standoff is not long after the Israeli-Palestinian deadline. I encourage people to continue to keep a watch on the situation on the ground in the Middle East. It has a tendency to explode when you least expect it. And with an increased chance of explosiveness in the region we get closer and closer to Bible prophecy fulfillment. Keep looking up, our redemption is drawing nigh!!
