Jeremy Renner: I thought Jeremy Renners performance in The Town, Ben Afflecks picture, was exceptional, his best work. Probably because it was the best script hes had to work with to date, and Affleck is an superior actors director - obviously he knows acting and hes spent years being beat up about his own acting. Im a Prime Amazon person and I got a recommendation to watch an episodic cop dramady called The Unusuals starring Renner made in 2009. It streams free for Prime members on Amazon Instant. Its another superb Renner character. Hes absolutely transparent and authentic. His work is completely natural. His range is whatever you give him. I hope his peeps (Im talking to you, manager) and Renner make the kind of choices Russell Crowe makes, not just action tentpoles. Id like to see Renner working with Ron Howard. Meanwhile, watch The Unusuals.
