Jimmy, the Aboriginal Norforce soldier, has been well received by readers of The Reckoning. Hes quite a likeable character, not to mention a good soldier. Bruce Carter (an Australian actor who starred in Redfern Now, alongside Ernie Dingo, plus multiple other roles, including a current movie hes involved in, called Red Billabong) could play Jimmy. He fits how I pictured Jimmy down to the ground. I contacted Mr. Carter, expecting no reply (as these guys are so busy most of the time, especially when they are on set) and was pleasantly surprised. Hes agreed to read the book! Now all I need to find is a producer interested enough to take the story on. You never know if you dont try!
