Job Title: District Recruiting Specialist Job Time Type: Full Time (30 Hours or More) Job Description: The primary role of the Recruiter involves sourcing, screening and selecting candidates who have the desire, skillset and means to build their own Agency. The Recruiter role is one of the most important roles in the District office. To be effective in this role, the Recruiter will need to successfully execute the recruiting process, as laid out by the District Manager and strike a balance between teaching, facilitating, mentoring and offering guidance. Suggested Best Practice Job Functions Core job duties include (but are not limited to) Successfully execute the recruiting process as laid out by the District Manager Administer Agent referral program, recommends referral bonuses and selects target jobs for referral Implements tracking systems to monitor the recruiting systems Conducts Agent interviews and Agency Career seminar; maintains continuing liaison with centers of influence Tracks and communicates with new prospects as they go through the licensing process in order to be prepared for their start date Provides a motivational learning environment and experience to Agents in both face-to-face and field learning situations Implements and delivers Farmers Agency training curriculum to develop new and existing Agents Is knowledgeable around all things regarding product, sales, marketing and the basic operations of running a successful Farmer Agency Establishes continuous improvement systems that allow knowledge transfer and behavioral development to flourish and respond to a changing marketplace Performs other duties as assigned Core Competencies Business Results - ability to motivate and teach to different situations by establishing relationships Strong People Skills - ability to build strong, trusting relationships with all personality styles, as well as the ability to inspire and influence Communication - excellent written and verbal communication skills Drive and Productivity - able to achieve great results from ordinary circumstances; prepares for problems of opportunities in advance; undertakes additional responsibilities and responds to situations as the arise without supervision Team Work - accepts feedback when offered and works well with others Preferred Skills and Abilities Outgoing personality with excellent telephone skills Prior experience recruiting commissioned sales people preferred Education Requirements 2-year degree or certificate program Equivalent business ownership or management experience Special Skill Requirements Written and verbal communication skills. Organizational and project management skills. Personal computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Suite and Internet May be called upon to perform job duties outside of standard business hours.
