John Baptist Babineau Fitchburg: John Baptist Babineau, 57, of Baldwinville, died Tuesday, September 9, 2014, at UMass Medical Center, Worcester. John Baptist BabineauJohn was born on May 4, 1957 a son of John B. Sr., and Joanne (Boucher) Babineau and has resided in the Fitchburg area for much of his life. John was a graduate of Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School Class of 1975. Following graduation he went on to pursue a career as a machinist and for many years with General Electric. He was also a self employed mechanic. John’s passion was sailing and when he wasn’t at sea he loved spending time on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was also an accomplished guitarist. Besides his parents he leaves behind his beloved daughter Krystal Marie Babineau of Florida; a sister Gisele Hawthorne and her husband Peter of Fitchburg; two brothers Danny Babineau and his partner Ronnie of Canada, and Steven Babineau and his wife Christine of Lunenburg; five nieces and nephews, Amy and Stephanie Hawthorne; Jeremey, Alex and Brianna Babineau. Arrangements Funeral Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in St. Antoine De Padoue Cemetery, Richibucto Villiage, New Brunswick, Canada.
