Julie is doing well considering they opened her head and removed part of the skull. She was joking today about feeling like she was hit by a Mack truck. Right now she is just resting and waiting on Drs. She is supposed to be fit for a helmet today but until she receives that she is not allowed out of bed. That should be later today. Then we just wait to see what direction we go to treat the infection remaining. At 3:30 this morning they did a CT scan to check on how everything was going for the Drs. to review today. Since it was a quick scan her nurse stayed in the hall waiting to take her back. Julie overheard her talking about her and telling the staff what a great patient she was after all she has been through. We are hoping that our testimony of how we react allows us to share our faith with them also. Philippians 2:14-18 Do all things without grumbling or disputing, that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I may be proud that I did not run in vain or labor in vain. Even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrificial offering of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. Likewise you also should be glad and rejoice with me.
