Just a friendly reminder to change lanes if you see a police officer pulled over. Couldnt even get my ticket reduced after spending three hours wasting time. Also found out there is no good email, Facebook, or Twitter system in place for the state to alert the masses of the latest new laws. I discovered that you have to show up twice to fight a ticket, and the scheduled court hearing time of 9:01 is specifically misleading as you are just in a pool of names. I only waited two hours but if every person would have shown up who had a case it would have been an all day event. Lesson learned? The government has a massive incentive to be extremely inefficient when it comes to fines. They get paid more the worse they are at customer service. I suggested an email announcement system and also using the cops traffic cams to give thousands of tickets to all the people who dont change lanes. Currently, there is no way to enforce the law unless two cops pull someone over and one dashes in their car and tracks down the perpetrator. Extremely inefficient. When I was pulled over by one cop dozens of cars whizzed by and didnt change lanes. An automated system would change that behavior quickly. Like blowing through a toll booth. Drop it! (1980s Robocop)
