Just a little note for you guys this morning, so we all help each other remember... There are definitely people who dont want you to be happy, there are people close to you (not just random faceless strangers, but real people watching your story unfold) who would love for you to simmer in grief instead of joy. They want you to only see darkness, never light. And they really want you to feel terrible about yourself. Yes, we all have big problems were facing. It hurts more than we ever thought anything could hurt. But we also have incredible miracles to celebrate. And faith will transform the problems that remain into even more miracles. I got another snarky, hurtful note this morning about my children. The most precious and terrifying space in my heart. And my instincts were twofold: Either shrug it off, it doesnt matter. Or FIGHT. Brutally. But Love says something even different: Be at peace. Trust, dont worry. And pray for your enemy. Not easy at first, but then its the easiest thing you will do all day!! And it only multiplies the Love in you. Best wishes to you on this crisp, pastel winter morning. I hope if anyone is watching and attacking you, that you feel strong enough to handle it well.
