Just a quick update on the storm that hit Bribie... we are mostly okay. Have three trees down, one on the roof but not leaking inside so it can stay till the morning when we will sort it out in the fun-shine - lucky to didnt fall on the avery. We were luckier than some others whos pictures we have seen.... but I am so proud of both my young men who helped me to clear trees off the single section of the road into Banksia Beach area, and learnt that there are people who simply act, people who talk about it, and those who always think its someone elses responsibility...By the time hubby returned with the ute to tow the downed trees out the way, we and the others who stopped and helped, had the area passable for cars.
