Just a quick update to say that Michael and the kids have returned home to Titusville with the help of my dad, driving up and riding home with them to give back-up and supervision during bathroom breaks, mostly. :). Michael has done awesome this week doing the solo dad thing while being in someone elses house with limited entertainment that we brought with us on what was supposed to be a 5 day trip... James is still in the ICU in Atlanta and though we hoped he was on the mend, he had an episode around 3:30am this morning requiring intervention that keeps him in the ICU. We appreciate your prayers for James and his bodys healing. He is battling HMPV which is a virus that caused pneumonia and pneumonitis as well as some mild pulmonary hypertension which are working together to cause the low oxygen saturation and requiring him to continue to be hospitalized along with some sudden desaturations that are keeping him in ICU. He is happy and regaining energy every day and for that we are thankful. We are on watch and wait status now, seeing when an opportunity may come that allows us to head back home to join our family. Thank you for your continued prayers for our family as Mike and the kids try to settle back in to a home routine and James and I work on getting him healthy and home.
