Just a random thought that my mind has been occupied with for the past few hours... Why would you ever listen to and even pay attention to opinions of people who criticize you, mock you, ridicule you and try to put you down? Seriously, why would you let anyone ruin your dreams and inject seeds of negativity and disbelief into your mind? Why do you think their opinion of you is more important to you than your opinion of yourself? Critics are nothing more than scared losers, they were once dreamers and had big and lofty goals but then perhaps failed a few times and instead of getting up, using a setback to their own wisdom and advantage and keeping on going, they just got scared and gave up. So critics are just either scared losers or jealous cowards who are too afraid to step into their discomfort zone, the area of the unknown, and instead cling to safety and envy everyone who is not afraid to push their limits because they get a glimpse of what they could have been too and that makes them criticize you as a defense mechanism to justify their own misery. I mean, all great and successful people at some point of their life were laughed at and ridiculed before they achieved their massive success. If Thomas Edison (who failed about 10,000 times during his career as an inventor) had cared about opinions of critics, he would have never become one of the greatest scientists the world has ever known up to date. If Mozart had listened to his cynics and haters instead of his heart and inner voice, we would never been able to hear and appreciate his eternal musical masterpieces. If Steve Jobs had cared about what others thought of him and his crazy ideas and listened to opinions of his critics and enviers, we would never have witnessed the biggest technological innovation of the 21st century as of yet - an IPhone. If Leonardo Dicaprio had paid attention to and taken as a truth all that which his jealous friends or haters were telling him in the beginning of his acting career, would he ever have managed to eventually set his name in stone on the Hollywoods walk of fame? So maybe its time to stop listening to all the scared losers and jealous cowards that surround you and take control of your own life?
