Just a thought we all need to know and be reminded of..God doesnt want us to struggle. We are guilty of thinking its just what we are supposed to do, and we are so good at it. We dress the part, go out in the complaining area knowing we have lots to do complaining about our struggles. We find ourselves exhausted from all the complaining and we can sometimes do a fantastic job of the struggle caused by none other than ourselves!! Its much easier, we think, to struggle than to try to change the struggle! All this to say that I met a friend in the hall yesterday. The one that bugged the stew out of me to go get checked. She said, How are you? I laughed and said, GREAt! (Sorta sacasticly) we both laughed. I said that I had learned a great lesson in all this....if a doctor asks you if you have any heart trouble in your family, just smile, lie, and say No! Then think,to yourself , I aint gonna struggle no more! All the way home yesterday the poem I cross stitched years ago and still have it hanging in our den kept coming to mind. You know it Im sure, Buttercups . It goes like this... The clock of life is wound but once and NO man has the power to tell just when the hands will stop at late or early hour.... So Im thinking shes right ,just smile and dont tell. Have a terrific Thursday. Remember the Big Boss wound our clocks again so theres work for us to do. Dont waste it with enjoying the struggle, but use it enjoying each minute cause our tick tocker is still a ticking!! Remember that old advertisement about a Timex watch? It takes a licken and keeps on ticking!
