Just after 5 am this morning, Hinton RCMP responded to a call of an armed robbery at the 7-11 Convenience Store in Hinton, AB. An unknown male, dressed in a blue long sleeve shirt, dark shorts, white running shoes, and wearing gloves and a white covering over his face entered the store and demanded money and cigarettes from the clerk. The male left the store on foot with an unknown quantity of cash and cigarettes. The investigation is ongoing at this time and resources including Hinton General Investigation Section, Edson Forensic Identification Services, and Stony Plain Police Dog Services have been assisting.
