Just back from my hike to the top of Gibraltar Rock near Lodi. The colors are peaking up north but theyre not even close here. Id say maybe 10% as you can see from the images. A chilly wind hits you in the face when you get to the top but its worth it. I consider today a scouting shoot so I know what to expect when the colors do appear. Who knows - maybe last nights frost will speed things up. I did see what I think is a turkey buzzard sunning itself on the way up. He must have been chilled - like the hikers were.
